We went to Dalton last weekend for Easter. In between the rain on Saturday Mom and I took Grace out in the wagon.
On Sunday, Grace found her Easter basket then got into her Easter dress for church.

And on a totally unrelated note… Last weekend mom’s college friends got together in Columbus for the weekend. The wonderful part was they offered their services to my house for a few hours while I was at work. They completely re-arranged my living room, kitchen and dinning room. It was sooo wonderful and I love my “new” house! Thank you so much to everyone. It was (and is) so greatly appreciated it and I can’t say thank you enough.
Last week Grace and I went with Mom and Dad to Hilton Head, SC. We had a great weather and a great week. Grace is not as content to sit still so the week was not very relaxing- but she definitely was entertaining! We drove back Saturday in time to see Les Miserables in Cleveland. Then Sunday was Grace’s first birthday party! It was so much fun. 3 of my good friends from college were able to come with their families as well as many of our family members. Grace seemed to have a good time- so much so that she slept until 8:30am the next morning!
On a more serious note, I’ve been having some health issues that possibly pertain to my Grave’s disease. I am following up with my endocrinologist tomorrow and hopefully will have some answers. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers and encouragement. It means a lot.
Grace is sick…again. I feel like this could be my post every week. Poor little girl has conjunctivitis, double ear infection(and with tubes in this is GROSS!) and some sort of gastrointestinal bug. Not to mention a common cold- complete with runny nose and cough. Seriously, I couldn’t even make this stuff up. She’s not getting eye drops and ear drops two times a day. So you can guess how much fun we’re having at our house right now! I’ve also recently found out that I have some health issues as well. I’ve been dealing with tachycardia, shortness of breath, muscle weakness and several other symptoms. I knew my thyroid was to blame, however after seeing an endocrinologist I found out I have Grave’s disease. I have 2 treatment options- radioactive iodine or a thyroidectomy (surgery). I have no idea which one I’ll choose at this point. I have to make a decision in April.
On a lighter note: last weekend Grace and I went home for the opening of the dari-ette. We had a great time with Great Aunt Lori, Aunt Carli, Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Kelsie, my friend Sydney and her two adorable girls, and of course Grandma and Grandpa. Here are just a few pictures.
